The Code Enforcement Board is a quasi-judicial board responsible for hearing violations of the City Code of Ordinances. The Code Compliance Division will present cases to the Board when violators fail to comply with a Notice of Violation, for repeat or recurring violations, or when violations are irreparable or irreversible.
The Board will hear testimony from the City and the alleged violator, and review any evidence submitted. The Board has the authority to determine if the alleged violator is responsible for a violation of City Code based on the evidence presented. They may order violations to be corrected, set a compliance date and impose daily fines if the violation is not corrected.
