The City of Marco Island Arts Advisory Committee (AAC) was created by The Marco Island City Council by Ordinance Number 04-20 on November 1, 2004. The Arts Advisory Committee recognizes that art is an invaluable asset to the community just as any other financial asset or investment. The Arts Advisory Committee sets a framework for creating opportunities for the community to experience the arts in everyday life and in the overall appearance of the City. The Arts Advisory Committee
initiatives includes civic projects involving art, private art in public places, public art in public places, and; performing Arts in public places.
