2012 The City of Marco Island’s Beach Advisory Committee charged with identifying short and long term issues that impact the beach environment, evaluating potential solutions and recommending policy and practices to City staff for administrative or Council action. In addition will keep the City Manager abreast of current conditions of Marco Island’s approximately seven (7) miles of Gulf beach; advise him of environmental matters relating to the beach; recommend future services to maintain the high quality of the beach for residents, visitors
and the valued natural resources.
