Scheduling Inspections
Inspection Requests are called in to the Inspectors Voice Mails prior to 7am on inspection day.
The Building Inspectors normally leave the office to perform inspections by 8am.
Please leave the following information in the Inspectors Voice mail:
Permit Number, Inspection Type, Job Site Address, Return Phone Number
You may also leave access instructions, if necessary.
Timed inspections are not generally available and need to be arranged directly with the inspector; on a needs basis and as time permits.

Right-of-Way Inspections related to New Single Family Home Permits should be called in to (239)389-5055.
All other Right-of-Way inspections and questions can be called in to the Public Works Department at (239)389-5002.
Checking Inspection Results
Inspection Cards should be readily available onsite for the inspector to sign off.
Inspection results can also be obtained by phoning a permit clerk.

In order to find your inspection result you will need to know what day the inspection was performed and which inspector would have performed it.
Follow the link above then click on the link for the inspection date.
It will open in Adobe Acrobat which should be on most machines.
The list will be in inspector order first then permit number order.
The easiest and fastest way to find your inspection will be to click on the Binoculars Icon
in the top of the report window and search by permit number.
