This notice is being re-posted to to several recent violations. If you currently have a house under construction you should make sure your job site complies with this policy. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at 239-389-5059 or buildingservices@cityofmarcoisland.com.
Subject: Water and electric required on new construction job-sites.
Metered potable water shall be available at the building site prior to any vertical construction.
Electrical service shall be operational at the building site, where electrical service is available, prior to the start of any tie beam or framing.
No inspections shall be made and a stop work order will be issued for the construction site if the appropriate water and electrical services are not in place.
We strive to make Marco Island a clean and safe place to live and work.
