BUSINESS
(A) DISCUSSION – Residential Density Reductions; Standards and Criteria Governing Mixed Use Projects; Standards and Criteria Governing Redevelopment in the Residential Tourist (RT) Zoning District; Essential Services Housing.
Due to time constraints, City Council and the Planning Board agreed to limit the discussion to the topic of residential density reductions. It was agreed that additional workshops would be held on the topics not discussed.
Community Development Director Vince Cautero and City Planner Bryan Milk reviewed proposed citywide density reduction goals pursuant to the Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR), including the impacts of conservation lands and proposed overlay changes to the Pedestrian Tourist Sub District, the Community Center Sub District, and the Town Center Sub District.
