Special-Called “Closed” Meeting – November 5, 2007 – 4:30 p.m.
Chairman Minozzi called the meeting to order and presided.

All Councilors present.
BUSINESS
(Editorial History: City Attorney Alan L. Gabriel requested that City Council and the City Manager meet in a “closed” attorney-client session to discuss matters relating to pending litigation known as State of Florida vs. David Dumas, Circuit Court of the Twentieth Judicial District in and for Collier County, Florida, Case No. 07-81-MOA-RC. Members of the public will not be permitted to attend the meeting due to the exemption allowed by Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes.)
At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman Minozzi made the following statement: “I hereby announce the commencement of this meeting called for the purpose of having an attorney-client session, pursuant to Florida Statute 286.011. The estimated length of this session will be one hour. The names of the persons attending this session are myself – Chairman Minozzi, Vice-Chair Trotter, Councilors DiSciullo, Forcht, Kiester, Popoff and Tucker. Also present are City Attorney Alan L. Gabriel, City Manager Bill Moss, and Special Litigation Counsel Daniel Abbott. All members of the public must now leave the room. At the end of the session I will reopen the public meeting.”
Upon conclusion of the attorney-client session, Chairman Minozzi re-opened the public meeting (see minutes of Regular Meeting for November 5, 2007) and announced that the attorney-client session was terminated.
ADJOURN
The closed meeting was adjourned at the beginning of the Regular Meeting that followed at 5:30 p.m.
