Special-Meeting – April 14, 2008 – 8:00 a.m.
Chairman Trotter called the meeting to order and presided.

BUSINESS
(A) City Manager Candidate Interviews
(Editorial History: At the April 7, 2008 meeting, City Council selected 6 finalists to be interviewed: Mr. Richard Finn, Mr. Stephen Garman, Mr. Richard Gestrich, Mr. James Malloy, Mr. Dale Sugerman, and Mr. Steven Thompson. Subsequently, Mr. Sugerman withdrew from consideration for the position.)
City Council conducted scheduled interviews with five candidates to fill the position of City Manager as shown on Exhibit 1 attached. City Council recessed for lunch at 11:49 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It is noted for the record that the same Councilors were present when the meeting reconvened.
Dr. Tom D. Freijo, with the Mercer Group, Inc., advised Council on the process to deliberate and select the new City Manager at the next Special-Called meeting on April 15, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.
ADJOURN
There being no further business to come before City Council, the meeting adjourned at 1:50 p.m.
