Racquet Center Doubles Grand Prix
Ages: 16yrs and older
Location: Racquet Center
Cost: $5 Pass Holders and $10 Non-Pass Holders
Monthly Grand Prix events (June, July, August) in Men's, Ladies, and Mixed Doubles. Enter a division for a month or all summer and accumulate points towards pro shop items (enter as a team). Call the Racquet Center for more information.
2nd Annual Firecracker Tennis Spectacular
Ages: 12yrs and older
Dates: Saturday, July 5th
Time: 8:00am - 12:00pm
Location: Racquet Center
Cost: $8/person Pass Holders and $12/person Non-Pass Holders
See some fireworks on the court with this fun competitive mixed doubles event. The "Firecracker" will be a round-robin with flighted levels of play. Gatorade and refreshments will be served to all participants. To sign-up, or for more information call the Racquet Center at 394-5454.
Rookie Tournament
Ages: 14yrs and under

USTA Florida sanctioned tournament designed for the junior entering competitive tennis. This tournament is for juniors that have not won and previous sanctioned junior tournaments and do not have any Floriday Junior Ranking Points. There will be a first-round consolation bracket in each division.

Juniors Summer Camp is designed to improve the player's strokes and their understanding of strategy and the rules of the game. Stroke production drills provide a fun environment for young players to improve their skills and understanding of the sport. Games and match play will make for a fun day on the courts for all. There are 9 weekly sessions to choose from (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and for those with tight schedules daily rates apply.

Head teaching professional Wayne Clark's program is a great introduction to the sport of a lifetime. Basic footwork and stroke production drills, along with games designed to help improve basic eye hand coordination create a fun environment for young players.
City Kids Tennis (Returning in August 08)
City Kids Tennis is a wonderful opportunity for Marco Island children to experience the game of tennis at a reduced cost. This eight week program is subsidized by the City of Marco Island and organized by Racquet Center Pro Wayne Clark. Tennis instruction is divided into four skill based divisions which allow children to progress at their own pace.
