Marco Island Building Services is now offering Remote Video Inspections

The Marco Island Building Services Division is always looking for ways to improve the quality of service we provide to our residents and contractors. For several months, we've been working on developing a method for contractors and homeowners to submit remote video inspections instead of physical inspections out in the field for specific permit types. Fortunately, we have been able to complete this project at a very opportune time, considering the circumstances that our community and country find ourselves. 

Our new offering of Remote Video Inspections will also help to maintain the CDC recommended social distancing protocols. We are offering this service for only two types of inspections:

Residential A/C replacements

Residential electric water heater replacements

How does it work?

Once the installation is complete, you simply take a video of the installation, schedule your inspection, upload your video, and submit for review. Our inspectors will review the footage to ensure the installation is code compliant, and you're done! We're sure this new service will offer much more flexibility to our customers. This service will also improve efficiency and ensure the health and safety of our residents.
