The City of Marco Island is pleased to invite the public to an Open House at City Hall on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 5:00pm – 6:00pm to view local artwork on display in City Hall. Last summer the City launched a new initiative called Art @ City Hall, celebrating local artists by displaying their work inside City Hall and highlighting Marco Island’s unique natural environment. Every three to four months a new theme is highlighted and a call to artists is sent soliciting artwork that aligns with that theme. The current theme is “Iconic Images of Marco Island.” The next theme, to begin in mid-July, will highlight “Dog Days of Summer: Marco Island Pets.”

The artists who contributed to the current art exhibit include Gary Armstrong, Debra Reed, Shawn Kelley, Adorable Monique, Tara O’Neill, James Robellard, Judith Chinski, Karla Kunzeman, Karen McEwen, Hope Hanley, Nancy Norman, Carolyn Burger, Bob Kenedi, Karen Swanker, Glory Sheba Spinuzzi, Mary Limont, Gertrud Fuchs, Joseph Parisi, Barbara Parisi, Marie Senechal, Ken O’Renick, Judy Becker, Pamela Shudes.
