Notice is hereby given that the Marco Island City Council will hold a regular council meeting at 5:30 p.m., Mon., Sept. 19, in the Community Meeting Room, 51 Bald Eagle Dr., Marco Island, Florida 34145. The meeting agenda includes, but is not limited to, the following Public Hearings:

1. Final Hearing to adopt the Fiscal Year 2023 Millage Rate and Budgets for the City of Marco Island and the Hideaway Beach Taxing District

2. First Reading to act upon the adoption of the voter-approved Referendum Ordinance, partially titled “Creating a Self-Financed, Transient Single-Family Rental Registration Program”

All interested persons are invited to attend and register to speak. The meeting will be live streamed on the city’s website and television channel (cable 93, 97 or 98). Any person who may seek to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at the meeting is responsible for making a verbatim record of the proceeding, including the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
