The Marco Island Fire Rescue Foundation will proudly unveil the Marco Island 9/11 Memorial on Friday, September 11, 2026, marking the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that forever changed our nation.
The unveiling ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Marco Island Fire Station, 1280 San Marco Road, Marco Island. The community is invited to gather for this meaningful occasion of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude.
Following the memorial unveiling, a Blue Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at San Marco Catholic Church. The Blue Mass will offer an additional opportunity for the community to come together in prayer and remembrance and to honor first responders and all those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving others. The entire community is invited to attend.
