The Marco Island Police Department offers this service at no cost to help ensure public safety and foster safer communities.

Operation Medicine Cabinet

Rid your medicine cabinet of unused, unnecessary or expired prescription medication immediately. You can do so by participating in one of our prescription drug “take back” programs/ Participants can drop off prescription drugs at participating pharmacies and permanent drop-off sites.

Important:  Please do not place syringes or needles into the MIPD drop off site.  These can be taken to the Marco Island Recycling Center.
