Beautification Advisory Committee

The Beautification Advisory Committee (BAC) is committed to enhancing the quality of life in our community through aesthetic improvements and the preservation of our natural and historical assets. The Committee promotes community pride and engagement with beautification projects, events and contests, and it provides guidance to help citizens improve their own properties. Programs include:

• Events and Activities
• Plant and Landscape Guides
• Tree City USA

BAC meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of every month at 3:00 p.m. in the Fay & Bedford Biles Community Room, at 51 Bald Eagle Drive, Marco Island, Fl 34145 (Police Department). For 2024, the January meeting is scheduled for the second Wednesday of the month (January 10, 2024), and the November meeting is scheduled for the second Wednesday of the month (November 13, 2024).

Mission Statement:
The Beautification Advisory Committee is charged with identifying short and long-term issues that impact the overall beauty and appeal of the island including planted street medians and streetscapes, publicly-owned cul-de-sacs, beach access points, evaluating potential solutions and recommending policy and practices to City staff for administrative or Council action.

• Write "BAC Donation for Event/Topic" in the memo. (Example: BAC Donation - Topic of Donation)
