Press Release_22-52 Veterans Day Ceremony

(November 1, 2022) A Veterans’ Day ceremony will be hosted by the American Legion Post 404 on Marco Island on November 11, 2022 beginning at 10:30am at Veterans Community Park.  While the park is still under construction and is not officially open, the City invites residents to honor our local veterans for their patriotism and service, and observe the opening of the Veterans Memorial within the park.   

Seating will be limited so residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.  Veterans Community Park is located at 901 Park Ave. on Marco Island.
