GENERAL DESCRIPTION – PLEASE REFER TO BID DOCUMENT FOR DETAILED REQUIREMENTS

Manhole structures are susceptible to aging and deteriorating, threatening the integrity of the entire sanitary system. This project consists of the repair and rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer manholes located a long of N. Barfield Dr. through Bluebird Ave up to Rose Ct, and Waikiki Ct. in Marco Island, Florida. A total of 31 existing manholes of approx. 4 ft in diameter and total 213 vertical feet need to be rehabilitated. And approx. 10 existing manholes need to be repaired. The existing manholes are made of concrete with brick and mortal above the corbel.

The work shall be in accordance with current Project Specifications, the City of Marco Island Utility Construction Standards, and FDOT Standards, as necessary.
