Incident: Burglary Arrest of Pedro Julio Banos Castillo

Location: 1400 N Collier Blvd. and 500 Nassau Road

On the morning of 09/29/2023, the Marco Island Police Department responded to two separate locations that were burglarized overnight, the Marco Island Yacht Club and the Island Country Club. An investigation conducted by the Detective Bureau identified Pedro Julio Banos Castillo as being implicated in the incident. On today’s date, Castillo was interviewed and subsequently placed under arrest and charged with two (2) counts of Burglary to a Structure, a third degree felony, one (1) count of Grand Theft, a third degree felony, and one (1) count of Petit Theft, a second degree misdemeanor. Castillo was transported to the Naples Jail Center and is currently being held on $11,000 bond. The investigation is still ongoing
