Mediation under the Florida Land Use and Environmental Dispute Resolution Act (FLUEDRA)

Notice is hereby given that two or more members of the Marco Island City Council, and two or more members of the Marco Island Planning Board, may attend and may participate in Mediation under the Florida Land Use and Environmental Dispute Resolution Act (FLUEDRA), which is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m., Tue., Oct. 18, 2022, in the Community Meeting Room, 51 Bald Eagle Dr., Marco Island, Florida 34145. The subject matter of the proceeding may be an item for discussion and/or action at a future meeting of the Marco Island City Council and/or the Marco Island Planning Board. About the Proceeding: Marco Club, LLC requested mediation under the Florida Land Use and Environmental Dispute Resolution Act (FLUEDRA) process following the City Council’s denial of a proposed off-site parking agreement for property located at 1202 Bald Eagle Dr (Resolution 22-17). This mediation will involve the participation of a Special Magistrate selected by the parties. The parties involved are Marco Club, LLC, and the City of Marco Island.
