Notice is hereby given that the Marco Island City Council will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., Mon., Oct. 17, in the Community Meeting Room, 51 Bald Eagle Dr., Marco Island, Florida. The meeting agenda includes, but is not limited to, the First Reading of an Ordinance implementing the voter-approved Single-Family Home Transient Rental Registration Program. The meeting agenda and backup material can be viewed on the City’s website, www.cityofmarcoisland.com, and at the City Hall Reception Desk, 50 Bald Eagle Dr. All interested persons are invited to attend and register to speak. Any person who may seek to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at the meeting is responsible for making a verbatim record of the proceeding. The meeting will be broadcast live on the City’s television channel and via the website, unless hampered by technical or weather-related issues. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations because of a disability or impairment should contact the City Clerk’s office as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the meeting. Reasonable accommodations will be provided at no cost to the individual. Notice is hereby given that the Marco Island City Council Workshop, originally scheduled for Sept. 28, 2022, will be held at 2 p.m., Fri., Oct. 21, in the Community Meeting Room, 51 Bald Eagle Dr., Marco Island, Florida. The following two topics appear on the agenda: City Manager’s Goals for 2023 and Workforce Housing. Prior to the Workshop, the agenda, including back-up material, will be available for viewing on the City’s website, www.cityofmarcoisland.com, and at the City Hall Reception Desk, 50 Bald Eagle Dr. The meeting will be broadcast live on the City’s cable television channel and via the website, unless hampered by technical or weather-related issues.
