Contests and Awards

The Marco Island Beautification Advisory Committee develops programs to actively engage the community, including events and awards. Marco in Bloom gives residents and businesses an opportunity to showcase their landscaping to be judged by the committee.

The Tree City USA program provides Marco Island with a four-step framework to maintain and grow its tree cover. It also gives the city an avenue to celebrate its work, showing residents, visitors, and the entire country that we are committed to the mission of environmental change.
