Press Release_22-05_Art @ City Hall_"Gardens and Flora of Marco Island"

The City of Marco Island is pleased to announce a new art display at City Hall featuring local artists and the “Gardens and Flora of Marco Island.” The City will host an Open House in February for the public to view the current art exhibit. In 2020 the City launched a new initiative called Art @ City Hall, celebrating local artists by displaying their work inside City Hall and highlighting Marco Island’s unique environment.

Every three to four months there is a new theme and a call to artists is sent soliciting artwork that aligns with that theme. The next theme to be featured in early May will be “Travel: Oh the Places You’ve Been!”

The artists who contributed to the current exhibit include Tara O’Neill, Sandra Esham, Debra Reed, Hope Hanley, Carolyn Burger, Virginia Palma, Susan Hankin-Birke, Roberta Bresette, Barbara Dalton, Ken O’Renick , Judith Chinski, James Robellard, Nancy Norman, Marie Senechal, Pamela Shudes, Wanda Coady, Mary Pat Palombo, Lynn David Nathanson, Karen Swanker, Jan Cirillo, Joseph Parisi, and JoAnn Brandau.
