Citizen Self Services portal accounts are for contractors, architects, engineers, permitting services and owner-builders.

If you don't have a portal account and are not a contractor, architect, engineer, permitting service or owner-builder please utilze the Search function of the portal or email permitdesk@cityofmarcoisland.com for assistance.

The Search function of our portal is for all portal users to have a level of view access to all permit cases.  If you don't meet the criteria for having a portal account, and need assistance with the portal or any other permit related information please contact the permitting team at permitdesk@cityofmarcoisland.com

Our permit records go back to permits submitted October 1, 1998.  Records request for Marco Island building permit information should be emailed to permitdesk@cityofmarcoisland.com

Permit records with a submittal date prior to October 1, 1998, should be requested from the Collier County Growth Management Department at (239) 252-5730 or GMDPublicRecordRequest@colliercountyfl.gov.

How to register for the portal?

• Go to the portal and click Register to begin the online portion of the registration process. 
• Enter your email and got through the "I am not a robot." process.
• You will receive a confirmation email from svc.CSSSMTP@tylerhost.net so check your junk mail if you don't receive it.
• Click the "Confirm" link in the email, to bring up the online form, where you'll set up your username and password. After you finish filling in the online form you will receive a second email indicating that your account is being reviewed.
• Staff will need to have received your registration form first, before they can activate your account.
  • New contractors submit the Contractor Registration form.
  • Prospective owner-builders submit the Owner/Builder Affidavit.
  • All others submit the Citizen Self Service form.

Accounts can be granted to licensed contractors, architects, engineers, owner/builders and applicants for Growth Management case types.
